Glute Buckle is the strongest hip thrust band on the block! Its so strong that it needs to buckle in the middle in order to set it across your hips!
Each end loops around the band pegs located on most newer squat cages/ power rack’s.
Hip thrusts are one of those exercises where bands offer several advantages over free weights; especially if you’re looking for pure isolation. With free weights, it’s difficult to activate the glutes without also pulling in the lower back and hamstrings.
Glute Buckle is also perfect for weighted push-ups. Its easy on the shoulders at the bottom, then puts maximum tension on the pecs right at the top!
Between level 1 and level 2, you won’t be missing those free weights much!
