They are safer on your joints than free-weight or cable machines, and the ascending tension makes them ideal for exercises like chest fly’s or straight-arm lat pull down’s. I recommend making bands a part of your regular routine; whether in place of other forms of resistance, in addition to other forms of resistance, or as just a warm-up aid.
