The Original Squat Harness™ was made to help offer some versatility to lower body workouts and provide a safe, comfortable, and effective alternative to classic barbell exercises. Functional trainer machines (or “cable machines”) are a perfect solution for full body workouts and have accessories to fulfil just about every exercise or muscle group. The have everything from tricep ropes, lat pull-down bars, curl bars, row handles, ankle straps etc etc. But until now, there was nothing designed specivically for doing squats with these cable machines; aside from a flimsy cable bar that feels even less comfortable on your back than an actual babell! That’s why The Squat Harness was made; it takes advantage of the user friendly features that these machines already offer and allows you to connect yourself to the machine and squat while holding the machine for support, or by gripping the loop handles for better core engagement. Squat Harness also -works great with resistance bands on-the-go.
Use for classic squats, “good mornings”, reverse lunges, step-ups, calf raises, or try wearing logo-side forward and doing cable crunches and band-assisted Nordic curls.
The Original Squat Harness has been tested to safely handle up to 550 lbs. of cable resistance.
